When you enter Simon Vision Institute, you will probably be eager to have all your questions answered. Our initial job will be to provide answers to every query you may have including technical information and a breakdown of affordability and financing options.
After we have had a chance to answer all of your questions, we’ll show you around and explain what type of technology we utilize at Simon Vision Institute, while also taking a moment to discuss all of your options.
Next, you will have an opportunity to meet with someone from our medical team who will work with you to chronicle a full medical history of your eyes and vision. You will receive refraction measurement, corneal thickness measurement, a full corneal mapping of your eyes, plotting of your pupil size and tear film evaluation. Throughout this process you should feel free to ask any questions and we will be sure to help you understand step by step.
Once we have been able to fully evaluate your eyes, we’ll have a personal consultation. At this time we will discuss the test results and whether or not you are a good candidate for LASIK Custom Vision. We will also explain the costs and what will happen the day of surgery.

- You can wear your contacts to the exam
While some vision centers require that you are contact lens free to determine whether or not you are a good LASIK candidate, we want this exam to be convenient for you and your busy lifestyle.
- No sales pressure
